Thai baht and Lao kip both accepted. Have small amounts of local currency for border fees and transport.
Transport
VIP buses from Ubon cost 200 baht (2 hours); international Pakse-Ubon bus is 90,000 kip via agent. Vans from border to Pakse cost 25,000 kip.
