Overview
Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park is the least visited of the national parks within easy striking distance of Tokyo, making it an ideal escape from the capital's crowds. The park spans 1250 km² across Saitama, Yamanashi, Nagano, and Tokyo prefectures, featuring eight peaks over 2000m and ancient shrines.
