Overview
Castletownbere (Baile Chaisleáin Bhéarra) is a small port town of about 1000 residents on the Beara Peninsula in southwest Ireland. The town sits in Bearhaven, a long anchorage sheltered by Bere Island, with Dinish Island guarding the harbour entrance.
