Overview
Castellfollit de la Roca is one of Spain's most visually dramatic villages: the entire settlement sits on a narrow basalt cliff over 50m high and nearly a kilometre long, wedged between two river valleys. The town church anchors the cliff's front edge, creating an unforgettable silhouette against the Garrotxa landscape.
