Overview
Brumadinho is a city of 37,000 people in Minas Gerais, Brazil, best known as the home of the Inhotim Institute, the largest open-air contemporary art museum in Latin America. The city also offers access to the Serra do Rola-Moça State Park, the adventure-sports area of Serra da Moeda, and the Veredas do Paraopeba tourist circuit featuring 18th-century colonial churches.

Transport
Saritur buses connect Brumadinho with Belo Horizonte daily at 08:15 for R$40-46 (Dec 2021). Direct buses to Inhotim depart from the central rodoviaria at 09:15.
Weather
Best visited April-October during the dry season. The wet season (November-March) may limit access to trails and outdoor attractions.
