Overview
Bogra (officially Bogura) is a smaller city in Rajshahi Division that saw significant development during President Zia's reign. It serves as a practical base for visiting two major archaeological sites: Mahasthangarh (the earliest known city in Bangladesh) and the UNESCO-listed Somapura Mahavihara in Paharpur.
