Overview
Bihoro is a small farming town in eastern Hokkaido that serves as a transit point between Asahikawa and Abashiri along the Sekihoku Line. The town is famous for Bihoro Pass (美幌峠), which offers sweeping views over Lake Kussharo and has been immortalized in a popular Japanese folk song (enka).
