Overview

Beiji Village (Beiji) means "northernmost" and delivers exactly that claim: China's northernmost point, northernmost outpost, northernmost post office, and the country's northernmost railway station at nearby Mohe. This remote settlement deep in the Greater Khingan Mountain Range along the Heilong (Amur) River offers a bucket-list experience for those who want to physically stand at China's geographic extreme.
