Before you go

Fees

Foreign visitors from non-SAARC countries pay a combined fee of ₹400 adults for Zoo, Butterfly Park, and Grand Safari. Separate tickets for each section apply for Indian and SAARC nationals.

Food

The park is plastic-free; all snacks are served in paper bags. Vendors sell chaats, roasted corn, and peanuts near the Children's corner. The Hill View Restaurant outside the zoo offers plated meals.

Safety

Keep all body parts inside the safari bus and never feed captive or wild animals. Elephant activity near the Champakadhama temple tank restricts access after dark and in winter evenings.

Timing

Arrive before 2PM on weekends to secure safari tickets. The park is closed every Tuesday and operates 9AM-5PM Wednesday through Monday.

Transport

BMTC bus routes 365 and G-4 are the most reliable public transport options from central Bangalore, running every 10-20 minutes to the park entrance.
