Aydıncık is a quiet Mediterranean coastal town in Turkey's Cilician Mountains with 11,500 residents as of 2022. Once an important ancient port called Celenderis, little remains of its past glory, but excavations continue uncovering Roman baths, a theatre, and mosaics.
