Accommodation
No hotels or rentals exist on the island. Isla Perez has only navy garrison facilities.
Food
Bring all food and drinks. Nothing is available for purchase on the island.
Permits
A special diving permit from CONAMP in Mérida (Av. Perez Ponce 120, +52 999 938 0708) is required; pay fees in cash.
Safety
The reef is treacherous for vessels. Educate yourself on sailing precautions and avoid reef-damaging sunblocks.
Transport
Access is by boat only from Progreso, Yucatán. Charter an experienced captain familiar with the reef dangers.
