Overview
Arkhangelsk is a regional center in Northwestern Russia, capital of the Russian North, with a rich history as the first Russian port. It is part of the Silver Ring and is a transit point to Solovetsky Islands, but also worth a separate visit for its cultural life and wooden architecture.
