Overview
Anaklia is a purpose-built seaside resort on the Black Sea coast, about 30 km southwest of Zugdidi. It offers sandy beaches, a scenic promenade, and Europe's longest wooden suspension bridge spanning the Enguri River mouth.

Safety
Bring earplugs for nighttime dog barking. Otherwise, the resort area is generally safe for visitors.
Transport
Marshrutkas run regularly between Zugdidi and Anaklia (1-2 lari, 30 min). Buses depart Anaklia 07:00-20:00, check schedule at Cruise Hotel.
Weather
Summer months (June-August) offer the best beach weather on the Black Sea coast. The area can be visited year-round but facilities may be limited outside peak season.
