Overview
Agua Prieta is a practical border crossing point between Arizona and Sonora, primarily serving travelers who need to transit between the US and Mexico. The city of 91,000 has little conventional tourism but draws visitors for its affordable Sonoran beef at family-owned steakhouses and its proximity to the historic Douglas port of entry.
