Overview
The Aegadian Islands offer a rare combination of Mediterranean tranquility, ancient history, and pristine marine life. Set just 10 km off Sicily's western coast near Trapani and Marsala, these three islands — Favignana, Levanzo, and Marettimo — reward slow travelers with prehistoric cave paintings, restored Norman fortresses, and the largest marine protected area in the Mediterranean.
