Anegada is the most sparsely populated of the main British Virgin Islands, with fewer than 200 residents across 15 square miles. Unlike the busier islands of Tortola and Virgin Gorda, Anegada offers genuine solitude on miles of empty beaches where you can spend an entire day without seeing another person.
Atlas entry
Jost Van Dyke (JVD) is the smallest of the four main British Virgin Islands, accessible by a scenic sail from Tortola. The island is world-famous as the birthplace of the painkiller cocktail, served at the legendary Soggy Dollar Bar on White Bay.
Atlas entry
The Southern Islands are uninhabited gems in the British Virgin Islands archipelago, offering some of the territory's finest snorkeling and scuba diving. Unlike developed islands, these tiny islets provide pristine marine environments, legendary caves, and the thrill of anchoring in secluded bays.
Atlas entry
Tortola combines north-shore beaches with rainforest trails in Sage Mountain Park. Road Town adds wooden houses, galleries and cafes to an island stay centered on the coast and sailing.
Virgin Gorda's granite boulders form pools and caves along the beaches at The Baths. A relaxed atmosphere and the reef-enclosed North Sound complement days spent around the water.
