Places in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Grenadines
The Grenadines are a dozen or so small islands (and countless islets) strung between Saint Vincent and Grenada in the southern Caribbean. These islands offer pristine beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, excellent snorkeling and diving, and a laid-back sailing culture.
Atlas entry
Union Island
Union Island is one of the smaller and friendliest islands in the Grenadines chain, volcanic in origin with thick green rainforest, sharp rock peaks, and jagged mountains towering several thousand feet. Clifton, the commercial hub on the harbor, is neat and attractive with colorful shops, bars, and restaurants within a 4-block walk.
