Overview
Ziarat is a tranquil mountain resort situated 133 km from Quetta amid one of the largest and oldest juniper forests in the world, with some trees estimated at 5,000 years old. The town derives its name from the Pashto word for "shrine," referring to the tomb of local saint Kharwari Baba, which draws regular pilgrimages.
