One caravan park with six cabins only. All other options require driving to Eulo (30 km away). Book ahead during festivals.

Only Telstra 3G works here. Public phone available. No other networks have coverage.

General Store for basic supplies; Short and Sweet for burgers and milkshakes. No pub or bottle shop in town.
Money
ATM unlikely; bring sufficient cash for fuel, food, and opal purchases. Credit card acceptance at caravan park only; opal shops may take cards.
Safety
Remote outback location. Carry water, inform someone of your plans, ensure reliable vehicle. Nearest medical facilities are in Cunnamulla or Quilpie.
Transport
No public transport exists. You need a vehicle with decent fuel range; no fuel available in Yowah. A 4WD helps for Black Gate Road return route.
