Three-block shopping strip with Woolworths, Aldi, IGA, Target Country, Bunnings. Banks and ATMs readily available.

Timing

Cherry Festival in late November/early December. Fruit picking season Nov-Jan. Avoid midday heat if picking fruit.

Transport

No passenger flights or trains to Young — drive or connect via coach from Cootamundra. A car is necessary to visit orchards outside town.
