Overview
Ylläs is one of Finland's largest winter sport resorts, built around a distinctive fell (gently rounded mountain above the treeline) in the municipality of Kolari. The resort offers downhill and cross-country skiing, husky safaris in Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, and the chance to see the Northern Lights on average 150 nights per year.
