Transport
Wismar train station connects to regional rail network; station is a 5-10 min walk to the Altstadt. Local buses serve outlying areas. Bikes can be rented near the harbor.
Weather
Baltic coastal climate with mild summers (June-August, 18-24°C) and cold winters. Best visited May-September for walking tours.
