Overview
Wetaskiwin is a small Alberta city best known for the Reynolds-Alberta Museum, which houses an outstanding collection of vintage cars, airplanes, tractors, and industrial machines. The city name derives from the Cree word wītaskiwinihk, meaning "the hills where peace was made," commemorating a historic peace pact between the Blackfoot and Cree nations.
