Overview
Weinheim is a historic town on the Bergstraße, one of Germany's warmest wine regions, about 15 km north of Heidelberg. Founded in 755 AD and granted city status in 1264 AD, it offers a compact Altstadt (old town), two medieval castle ruins, and access to Odenwald forest hikes.
