Overview
Vlissingen (historically Flushing) is a port town in the Dutch province of Zeeland, sitting on the northern bank of the Western Scheldt where it meets the North Sea. The town has 45,381 inhabitants and an industrial maritime character, yet it draws crowds in summer to its 2.6-km-long boulevard.
