Overview
Verbier is a resort town in the Swiss canton of Valais near Martigny, best known as a ski destination within the Les 4 Vallées network. The ski area is one of the largest in Switzerland, extending to Thyon and up to the Mont Fort glacier, with terrain particularly suited to intermediate and advanced skiers.

Nightlife
Vibrant après-ski scene with happy hour 4-5PM; nightclubs stay open until 3-4AM in peak season. None of this comes cheap.
Transport
Verbier is walkable; free village buses run until early evening. Cable car to Le Chable operates 08:30-18:30, with later buses available.

Best ski season December to April; summer hiking season June to September. Mont Fort glacier accessible year-round.
