Overview
The Valley of the Temples (Valle dei Templi) is one of the most significant archaeological sites in the Mediterranean, preserving the ruins of ancient Akragas, once one of the leading cities of Magna Graecia. The site features remarkably well-preserved Doric temples built during the 5th century BC golden era, with the Temple of Concordia being one of the best-preserved ancient Greek temples in the world.
