Overview
Utö is Finland's southernmost inhabited island, 80 km from the mainland in the Archipelago Sea, offering a rare glimpse of isolated island life. The island has a lighthouse since 1753, military history from World War I coastal fortifications now converted to a hotel, and attracts birdwatchers during migration seasons.
