Overview
Tufi is a small town on the northeast coast of Papua New Guinea in an area known as the Fjordland. The scenery is spectacular, with fjords over 90 metres deep and sides rising to over 150 metres, covered with moss and orchids.

Papua New Guinea Kina (PGK) is the local currency. Credit card facilities are likely limited to the resort only.
Transport
PNG Air flies to Tufi twice weekly from Port Moresby. A weekly ferry runs from Popondetta and Lae but service is unreliable.
Weather
Best diving conditions between October and mid-June. The fjords and rainforest are accessible year-round.
