Overview
Trim is a historic market town in County Meath, 50 km northwest of Dublin, with a population of 9,600. Its main draw is the remarkably well-preserved Trim Castle, one of Ireland's largest Norman castles, plus the atmospheric Yellow Steeple ruins of St Mary's Abbey.

Transport
Bus Éireann 111 runs hourly from Dublin (1 hour) to Trim. Bus 190 runs hourly from Drogheda (1 hour). By car, follow M3 to junction 6 then R125/R154 north.
