Overview
Trbovlje is a working-class mining town that made an unlikely cultural mark as birthplace of Laibach, Slovenia's iconic industrial music collective. The setting along the Sava River is surprisingly pleasant despite the looming cement mill, and the town makes a compelling half-day stop for those interested in industrial heritage or the Laibach phenomenon.
