Overview
Tramore is a beach resort town on Ireland's south coast, with its name meaning "big beach" in Irish - a 5-km spit across the bay. It began as a fishing village and grew with Victorian sea-bathing fashion, though it slumped when tourists discovered the Mediterranean.
