Food
Thomastown has several cafes on Market St and Pipe St, mostly closing by 4:30PM or 5PM. The pubs serve evening meals; dinner before 8PM is advisable.

Euro (€) is the currency. Most accommodation and restaurants accept cards; cash is needed for smaller cafes and markets.
Transport
Thomastown station is on the Dublin-Waterford line. Bus Éireann 365 connects Kilkenny and Waterford via Thomastown. A car or bike is needed to visit outlying attractions.
