Overview
Termez is Uzbekistan's southernmost city, perched on the Amu Darya (Oxus River) opposite Afghanistan. The city serves as a major transport hub for goods crossing into Afghanistan via the Friendship Bridge, built during the Soviet era.

Local marshrutkas cost 10,000 som; unofficial taxis require pre-negotiated prices. Airport minibus route 11 connects to Yubileyny Bazaar.
