Overview
Tayabas was once the provincial capital of Quezon and rivaled Vigan or Taal for its Spanish-era architecture. While many ancestral houses were lost during World War II, the city retains enough historic stone bridges, old churches, and heritage homes to make it a worthwhile stop for architecture and history enthusiasts.
