Overview
Tashiyangtse is considered one of the more picturesque towns in Bhutan. It serves as a convenient base for visiting sacred Buddhist sites and for bird watching, particularly the endangered black-necked crane which winters in nearby Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary.
