Tarra-Bulga National Park preserves one of Victoria's last remaining patches of temperate rainforest. The park features ancient myrtle beech forest dating back over 20 million years, making it a living museum of Gondwanan-era vegetation.

Accessibility
Tarra Falls is accessible directly from the car park with no walking required. Other attractions require varying levels of fitness.
Transport
Roads within the park are single-lane. C484 (Grand Ridge Road) is unsealed north of the southern Tarra River crossing. Drive with caution on tight corners.
Weather
Climate ranges from cool to very cold. Summer can be warm in cleared areas. Best visited spring through autumn for comfortable walking conditions.
