Overview
Taranga is a major Jain pilgrim centre in north Gujarat, featuring well-preserved 11th-12th century Jain temples built in Maru-Gurjara architecture style. The hill also holds Buddhist archaeological remains including rock caves and stupa ruins, making it unusual for its dual religious heritage.
