Interbus connects Taormina to Catania airport (80 min, €5) and Messina (2 hours, €4.30). The cable car to Mazzarò beach costs €3.

Peak summer (July-August) is very hot and crowded. Early summer and autumn offer milder weather with fewer tourists.
