Overview
Tanjung Bira is the end of the road in southeastern Sulawesi—a remote beach community that rewards travelers willing to make the journey. It's famous for watching traditional pinisi (sailing schooner) boats being built by hand on the beach, swimming in clear turquoise waters, and snorkeling over coral and moray eels.
