Overview
Ta'izz is a city in the south of the Yemeni Mountains, situated at the foot of Mount Sabir at approximately 1,400 meters above sea level. It is notably better developed than most Yemeni cities, with very good roads and reasonably clean streets.

Ta'izz has a regional airport and good road connections. The city lies 255 km south of Sana'a. Roads to nearby destinations like Al Turbah are well-maintained.

Ta'izz enjoys a pleasant climate year-round due to its 1,400m elevation. Summers are warm (30-32°C), winters mild (11-14°C). Best months for clear weather are typically November-April.
