Campgrounds (Jarvis Bay Provincial Park) and hotels (Best Western, Comfort Inn) along Lakeshore Drive. Book summer weekends early.

No public transit. Car required for getting around beyond walking distance. Highway 11 from Red Deer is the main route.
Weather
Summer (June-August) is peak season with warm lake water for swimming. Winterfest in Jan-Feb offers frozen lake activities.
