Overview
Sultan Bathery is a historic town of 27,000 people in Kerala's mountainous Wayanad region at 930m altitude. The town is famous for its 13th-century Jain temple, once a place of commerce and worship before Tipu Sultan made it his military headquarters, giving the town its name.
