Transport
Stonehaven railway station has regular ScotRail services to Aberdeen (25 min) and south to Edinburgh/Glasgow. Stagecoach buses 4A/4C loop the town hourly M-Sa. Taxis available from Dash Cabs and Zip Cabs.
Weather
Maritime climate with cool summers (15-20°C) and mild but wet winters (3-8°C). Pack layers and waterproofs year-round. Summer is best for outdoor activities and castle visits.
