Overview

Stanley is a diminutive coastal settlement of just 553 residents on Tasmania's rugged northwest coast, yet it punches well above its weight in scenic drama. The town is dominated by The Nut, a spectacular 143-metre-high flat-top volcanic plug rising abruptly from the Bass Strait shoreline, visible from virtually every corner of the village.
