Overview
Stanley is the remote capital of the Falkland Islands, a British overseas territory in the South Atlantic. The town of about 2,500 residents (three-quarters of the archipelago's population) offers Victorian-era architecture, the southernmost cathedral in the world, and numerous war memorials from the 1982 conflict with Argentina.
