Overview
South Queensferry is a compact historic town on the south bank of the Firth of Forth, famous for spanning three eras of bridge engineering: the iconic red Forth Rail Bridge (1890), the Forth Road Bridge (1964), and the Queensferry Crossing (2017). The cobbled High Street dates from the 15th century, and the town features in Robert Louis Stevenson's novel Kidnapped.
