Overview
Sipoo offers quick access to Finnish nature without venturing far from Helsinki—25 km east, it's a patchwork of Helsinki suburbs, traditional Swedish-speaking countryside, and accessible archipelago. The municipality includes Nikkilä (the administrative centre, also called Nickby) and Söderkulla, making it useful as a half-day nature escape or transit stop between Helsinki and Porvoo.
