Overview
Simien National Park is one of Africa's most spectacular mountain landscapes, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978. The park protects Ethiopia's highest peaks and features the world's rarest canid—the Ethiopian wolf—alongside troops of endemic gelada monkeys that approach hikers on trail.
