Overview
Sargodha is Punjab's top orange-exporting city, producing the famous kinnow mandarins that are sent abroad. The city is nicknamed the "California of Pakistan" for its agricultural richness and citrus production.

Safety
Nuclear facilities are located 10-20 km from the city. Avoid areas near Kirana Hills and Khujab during periods of India-Pakistan tensions.
Transport
Auto-rickshaws ( Chinggis) and cycle rickshaws are main local transport. GT Road connects Sargodha to Lahore and Faisalabad.
Weather
Summers are extremely hot (up to 40.7°C in June); winters are mild (4.9°C in January). Best visited October-March.
